LIP SYNC RULES
SONG
- You can mix a maximum of two songs
- Total length of your show must be less than five minutes
- If possible, we ask that you target 3.5 minutes or less
- If you need help editing your song to make it shorter, please contact us at info@atkinsonnightowls.com
- Lyrics must be appropriate for students
- No references to alcohol or drugs
ACT
- No alcohol or drug related sets/props
- Maximum banner size: 6' height x 20' length
- Costumes should be something the students could wear to school
- Balloons, bales of hay, and straw are not permitted
- Nothing may be thrown into the audience
GUIDELINES
- Sensitivity should be shown for the feelings of those in the audience (e.g., no mocking gender or body size)
- Judges scoring emphasis is placed on the “lip sync” aspect of the act
